Adult ministries

  • Bible Studies

Grace UMC offers many opportunities to study and learn more about God's Word. In addition to Sunday School classes, there are daytime and evening, short- and long-term Bible studies for men and women.

  • United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women of Grace (UMW) is an active and growing fellowship of women dedicated to Christian mission. Through funding and service, they support many local church activities, as well as numerous mission activities. They sponsor tow major events each year to raise funds in support of missions. There are three circles at Grace that all women are invited to visit.

  • United Methodist Men

The mission of the United Methodist Men (UMM) is to declare the centrality of Christ in every man's life, to promote the spiritual growth of men through effective discipleship, and to model the servant leadership of Christ in our daily lives. The Grace UMM supports many mission programs, such as the Salkehatchie program that enables homes to be repaired for those in need.

  • OASIS (OLDER ADULTS SHARING IN SERVICE)

OASIS is a group for members of Grace and the West Ashley community in their 50's or older who meet the third Thursday of the month for a covered-dish luncheon and short program. The purpose is to share things of common interest and strengthen personal relationships. The group meets at noon in the Fellowship Hall.
