Daily Advent Devotional
Dec 1st - 25th
Grace UMC has a daily Advent Devotional that will be emailed to everyone who receives our weekly E-News. There are also paper copies available. Click here to notify us if you want a paper copy of the devotional. You just need to send us your name, and the devotional will be available in the Welcome Center at the church.
First Sunday of Advent
November 30th
Join us for a contemporary service at 9am or our traditional service at 11am as we kick off the Advent season.
Youth Lead Wednesday Worship & Dinner
Dec 3rd at 5pm
Our Youth will lead our first Wednesday Worship service of Advent. The service begins at 5pm in the sanctuary. It is followed by dinner in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30. Come support our Youth and remember the true meaning for the season.
Christmas Caroling
Dec 4th at 6:30pm
Join us as we go caroling through the neighborhood around Grace UMC. We will conclude back in the Fellowship Hall for cookies and hot cider.
Second Sunday of Advent
Dec 7th
Join us for a contemporary service at 9am or our traditional service at 11am as we kick off the Advent season.
Blue Christmas
Dec 9th at 7pm
This time of year can be challenging for people who are experiencing grief. We invite anyone who is experiencing grief this Advent season to join us for a service of healing at our Blue Christmas worship.
Worship of Christmas Carols & Dinner
Dec 10th at 5pm
We will worship by singing our many of our favorite Christmas Carols in the sanctuary. The service will be followed by dinner in the Fellowship Hall.
Christmas P0tluck Dinner Party
Dec 11th at 6:30pm
Bring a covered dish to share and join us for our annual Christmas Party in the Fellowship Hall. This party is put on by the United Methodist Men, but everyone is invited. Please come a bit early if you want a good parking spot. This event always packs the house.
Third Sunday of Advent
Dec 14th
Join us for a contemporary service at 9am or our traditional service at 11am as we kick off the Advent season.
This week the Youth will have lunch and go caroling after the 11am service. Contact Chip if you have any questions.
Christmas Pageant
Dec 17th at 5pm
Be here to see our weekday school students, as well as the children and youth at Grace lead our annual Christmas Pageant. The sanctuary will be packed, so get here early. And then stay for dinner in the Fellowship Hall. This is one of the most exciting events of the season!
Youth Lock In
Dec 19th at 7pm
Our Youth are having their annual lock in starting at 7pm on Friday Dec 19th, and ending at 7am on Saturday Dec 20th. Please contact Chip if you have any questions
Fourth Sunday of Advent Cantata
Dec 21st at 11am (no 9am service)
We only have one worship service this Sunday at 11am, as our Chancel Choir leads us in their Christmas Cantata.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and Christmas Cookie Potluck
Dec 21st after the Cantata
Bring a plate of Christmas Cookies to share, wear your "ugliest" Christmas sweater, and join us in the Fellowship Hall after the Cantata. We will have prizes for the following categories:
- Most original
- Funniest
- Best matching
This event is enjoyed by everyone. Even if you do not don an ugly Christmas sweater, join us so you can cheer on those who do.
Christmas Eve
Dec 24th
We will celebrate Christmas Eve with a:
- 3pm Contemporary service
- 7pm Traditional service
Both services will celebrate communion and include candles/glow-sticks. Everyone is welcome to either or both services.
Traditional Lessons & Carols
Dec 28th at 11am (no 9am service)
Join us for the first Sunday in Christmas with a traditional service of Lessons & Carols. We will only have one service this Sunday.
